93 Cavalier RS Starting Trouble

I bought a '93 Chevy Cavalier 2 years ago (in 2009) and recently it's been having some starting issues. Sometimes if I leave her sit for too long she won't start. The electrical systems will engage, but the engine won't turn over. In such cases I have to jump her to get her started. I had the battery and alternator tested with a diagnostics system at an auto parts store and everything checks out ok. However, since I've had the car, the clock radio light stays on even when everything in the car is off. Is this normal? Could it be draining my battery and causing the starting issues? Has anyone else hear of this or had a similar problem?http://staticaf.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/confused.gif

a simple test would be to pull the radio fuse when you park it. If you come back to it and find the battery dead again there is your answer. My clock stayed on too when I first got my cav and I was having similar issues. I wound up replacing my battery and by coincidence, the clock straightened out on it's own a couple weeks later.
