If check engine light not on at present time the problem is not present at the time.
WAS THE CODES PRESENT OR HISTORY CODE?
As with any codes clear codes and see if any returns.
157 and 160 point to a 02 sensor or or 02 sensor heater circuit problem on bank 2. With 157 being a heater or circuit problem bank 2 sensor 1.
If either or both codes come back after clearing go threw the repair chart for the code.
1345 code is cam/crank sensor correlation problem.
First step is to check cam/crank sensor retard setting with a engine capable scanner.
Setting needs to be as close to - or + 0 degrees as you can get it.
If 3 or over 3 - or + degrees the VCM will set code 1345.
You will need a engine capable scanner and a good REPAIR MANUAL FLOW CHARTS to check everything out.
Camshaft retard setting is just like setting timing used to be.
You have to move dist left or right to set it.
Let us know how it goes.

The codes are present. There were no codes pending. I cleared them lastnight, and this morning the 157 & 160 are back. The 1345 is not. It runs great. But it is only getting about 9 mpg. I though there was something going on with it because it has been using more and more gas. Is that a symptom with the 160? Thanks.

Any time a sensor or vcm is not working right it can cause it to burn more gas.
A bad 02 sensor or wiring can cause full rich running.
Check it and wiring to it out and go from there and recheck after driving check camshaft retard seting and for code.
Good Luck and let us know how it goes.

I had the scanner plugged into it tonight and with it running there was no voltage to bank 2 sensor 2. I got under the pickup and tapped on it lightly and it started bouncing around from .445 to .450 volts. then it died and went back to 0. Thanks.
I forgot to mention that the cam retard is at 23 degrees. For some reason it doesnt change when I turn the distributor?

As to the 02 sensor voltage reading depending onn where and how much you tapped it could be a bad sensor or bad wiring or wiring plugin.
I would suggest you check wiring and plugin to that sensor.
For a sensor test switch sensors with another one and see if problem moves or stays with sensor bank 2 sensor 2.
On the 23 degrees cam retard the engine has to be speeded up before reading will change after moving dist.
After speed up over 1000-1200 rpm if no change on reading I would be checking camshaft sensor in dist or the wiring plug in on it.
Is it setting aew codes after code clear?

I switched it to the other side and the code came up on the other side. Got that narrowed down. Got cam retard set. What are aew codes? I also noticed that the cel does not come on when the key is turned on like it usually does?! Thanks alot.

Aew codes was a key board/spelling error.:iceslolan
Caused by new PC and new key board that big fingers hanging over key's and with a mind of it own plus spelling checker not installed on new PC yet.:grinno:
Should have been (New) new codes that returned after a code clear.
Check engine light should come on key on and go off after engine start up.
If not there is a problem there.
After you get the 02 sensor fixed and codes cleared drive it and see how it does and if Cel/check eng light comes on key on and goes off engine start

To help any others with the same problem tell us.
What all did it take to get the camshaft retard set?
On the Ceil light not on key on check your scanner reading and see if Cel light on dash comes on when scanner says it is turned on.
If not you may have a Cel light bad or other problem.
Vcm should command check eng/Cel light on key on engine off.
Good Luck and let us know how it goes.

I thought "aew" was a misspelling, but I thoung I would check.
All I had to do with the cam retart was rotate it a little CCW. (If I remember right!!) And if I would have been paying attention, there is a white paint mark on the back of the distributor, maybe from the factory? I lined that up and it is now right on..
The scanner is saying the CEL is on but its not. Thanks.

If scanner says on there is a bulb or wiring from from VCM to bulb or bulb ground.
Also check cel light wire from VCM and see if vcm is comanding light on there.

Sorry it took so long to get back. Finally had time to take bank 2 sensor 2 out. When I got it out, I could hear something rattling in the tip when I shook it? I put the new one in and still get the P0160. All of the wiring and connections seem to be in good shape. I didnt have time to put it in the other side and see if the code popped up over there. The new sensor is a Denzo. Are those any good? Thanks.

Was code cleared and drove to see if it came back?
Any other codes?
Was the 02 senser a direct fit or a universal wire in?

Yes, I cleared the code and it came back after about 10 minutes of driving. It was the only code that showed up. It was a direct fit sensor also. Thanks

Next step is to check the wiring out and see if sensor reading is getting to the VCM/PCM computer.

I checked the wiring lastnight and didnt find any obvious problems. So I switched the two rear sensor and now the problem is on the other side. It jumps from .000v to .450v over there. Are new sensors bad very often? Thanks.

You are welcome.
I have not had any problems with new direct fit 02 sensors.
I usualy use bosh aftermarket from parts place.
You need to find a 02 sensor from another place.
Where you got that bad one may have a bad batch.
Good luck and let us know how it goes.
