It's been a long time, was going through my modeling equip, and looking at whats going on here. I impulse bought a Revell Enzo and *gasp* sprayed it with Testors Bright red over black primer. Not too bad for enamel.
Here's some quick photo's, i'll post more along the way. I might slap it together, or I might do something crazy. Waiting on some scaleautosport CF decals to come in, please excuse the lack of CF for now! :evillol:

Thanks for replying guys :loser: Here's an update:
its been a few weeks, going to try and polish the body out a bit soon. in the meantime... Working on the engine-
I started to make solder exhaust manifolds, but the wife is pregnant and the fumes had me to decide against it for extra caution. I then thought about using styrene tube, lost interest and ended up working the stock parts. I scraped away some flash and deepened the areas where the tubes mated using dental picks. then black washed those areas to add depth. They are coming along, cannot say I am finished with them yet, we will see.

I like all the extra work you are putting into this, coming along very nicely. The springs sure are a big improvement.

Progressing with engine bay. Remote shock reservoirs, exhaust system work, foiling, CF intake manifold. Started polishing the body out, also. I will have a little repair and touch up work to get the front fascia and rear engine cover seated flush. Mistake not doing this 1st; revisiting a lot of mistakes after a 5+ year hiatus from building. Sorry pics weren't sized equally, rush job posting :disappoin

Clear coat done. Tried to shoot it in at least two different types of lighting so you could get a better idea of the true color. The Testor's bright red looks deep and lush applied over the black primer. I think it would be too light red over gray or white. The black on the windowsill is (the start of) panel lines, not thin paint. Front fascia is not permanently attached, just mocked up for photo.
