2000 Neon Fuel problem

I am so glad I found this forum. I need some help (input). I have a 2000 Neon with about 120k miles on it. I is in great condition and runs fine. Here is my problem. It starts and runs fine but after driving for about 20 miles it just runs out of gas and stalls. If I let it set for about 10 min. I guess it cools down and it will start right up again. I bought a new fuel pump unit and understand that the filter and all is built into it. Before I drop the tank and replace it is there a chance it could be something else other than the pump/filter I should be looking at first. Thank you very much for any help and input.

Just had the Neon checked with the little computer thing. The only thing it showed that was bad was the ignition coil pack. Does that sound to anyone like that could cause the problem?

Damn that wasn't it either. Now it says the Cam Shaft resistance Sensor is bad. Could that be it?
I really don't know why I ask these questions HERE. No one answers. Does it take a long time to get into your click?

Is your Check Engine Light on? What code did the "little computer thingy" give you?

I just got back from having the codes read on the car. The only code that shows up is: P1391.That is the Camshaft Position Sensor and the timing belt has either stretched or jumped.
The check engine light has gone out after driving it for a few miles.

Are you still having the stalling problem?

Pull the cam sensor clean it up and reinstall and see if you continue to have the problem. If so, you may need to replace it.
