We have a 2004 Monte Carlo 3400 engine that won't turn over. Won't even try. Security light wasn't on but was told the security will shut the system down. Put new battery in and tried new ignition. Went through the learn procedure. turn the key and everything seems to work but turn to start and theres nothing, don't even try start. Don't even hear the fuel pump. Jumped the starter and it will turn over over that way but won't start. Guessing cause theres no fuel. ran fine and went out in the morning and nothing. Any ideas?

I moved your thread in this forum as it would be more appropriate and get answered with the vehicle type.
Now I have a few questions about your issue before I can even begin guessing the problem.
1. Is this a new problem or something that came with the vehicle from date of purchase?
2. You purchased new ignition, but did you have the starter checked?
3. Does the vehicle come with Burg alarm? If so, did you purchase with it or did you install a new alarm?
Please provide more information about the vehicle and it will only help you to get an answer. Start with the above for now.

New, Everything was fine untill Friday morning

The starter turns over if you hook direct power to it but will not start it
3. Does the vehicle come with Burg alarm? If so, did you purchase with it or did you install a new alarm?

Based on your answers, I can provide some suggestions, but again, without more info it will be difficult, at least on my end.
Sounds like you need to check the following:
1. You said when you give it a boost, it turns over but doesn't start. Could be a bad alternator. If it can't charge the battery, it will never start.
2. Check to make sure fuel injector is clean. Could be possibility of not staying on.
3. Make sure starter is getting power. You may need to get an ohm meter to see(Not sure how to do this).
As you can see, the possibilities are many that can only be deduced by trial and error. See what works and doesn't and report back.

something has to be disabling the system. The fuel pump is not running, and theres no spark. the starter works if you jump it. when you turn the key to acc everything works. turn the key farther to engage starter and theres nothing while holding the key in the start position. just like the battery is disconnected.

PROBLEM FIXED:
On the drivers side below the air cleaner theres a wiring harness. Took the air cleaner out and there were like 5 wires that a mouse had chewed through. I suppose they went up in there looking for warmth. One of them wires went to the starter. Thanks for the help.
