Hi

I built this Merc as my first attempt at using candy paint via my airbursh. The kit is nothing special but went together without any dramas.

Hope you like and thanks for looking.

Looks like the color laid down pretty well. I don't see any streaks in the paint. What color did you use for the base coat?

Hi rsxse240

Thanks for your comments.

The primer was Tamiya, the base coat was Zero Fine Metallic silver, then Zero Candy Purple followed by Zero pre thinned clear coat. I have to admit I was very surprised the paint went on so well but the Zero range is mixed with modellers in mind and sprays really well.

I tend to only use Zero paints now for body work now I have moved to using an airbrush.

Hope this helps.
