Rockers

96 Cherokee inline 6, after I put the head back on (blown head gasket) and put the push rods back in. What procedure do I follow to replace the rocker arms? The engine is sitting with #1 TDC

You should be able to simply just put the rockers back on, and torque them as specified. IIRC it's an alternating process, starting in the center and moving outward; so #3 and #4, then #2, then #5, #1, and then #6.

Torque to 1/2 the specified amount the first time, then all the way the 2nd time. Make sure the tops of the rods line up into the correct spot on the rockers.
