Need help for a 2000 Tiburon

Hi,

i have found a 2000 Hyundai Tiburon,manual shift with 118k miles in it for 2500 $ but i don't know much a bout hyundais in general.how reliable are they and whats the cost of maintenance.Whats the cost of replacing the timing belt because the car need a new timing belt.

A new timing belt generally runs about $40 dollars, labor depending on what shop you take it too. I've never owned a tibby, but my good friend had one a 02 and nothing was wrong with that, for the 5 yrs he had it And my roomate actually just traded in his Yukon for a 04 Tiburon, on the 5 of Jan this year, No problems with that.
