Blinker Sound

On our 1998 Toyota Corolla LE, when at idle or slow speed, it sounds like the blinker is on (Its not). It makes that same noise. Once you hit freeway speed, the sound goes away. Anyone ever experience this before?

Anything else happening while the "blinking" happens? Does the engine's idle RPMs increase and decrease with the clicking noise? Does it happen with the A/C or defroster on or off?

That sounds very annoying. Check your hazard light switch. That could be your culprit there.
