My rear seat belts seem to always lock up when someone uses them. Usually you should be able to move freely until a sudden stop. But they seem to be locked up everytime someone sits inthe rear. Its very unconforable being restrained to the seat.
Anyone else experience this?

My mother always had this problem. If they pull the belt out all the way it will engage the lock and after they let it retract, it only got tighter the more they fight with it.
The way she sank into the seat, the low position of the female buckle end and her mobility caused her to pull it all the way out, bunch it up so she had lots of wiggle room to find the seat part of the belt and insert the locking tab .
Like a fly in a spiders web, she was trapped. I had to get her to release it back in and then just pull it out enough to just click it in.
Maybe this is what your peoples experiencing

That is part of the problem but it seems to sensitive even when accounting for this. Even if you don't pull it out all the way it seems to happen.
