I heard a squeeling that revs along with the rpms. I was going to change the alternator and realized the sound is coming from the harmonic balancer. I am not a mechanic and can only do a few self taught things on a car. I looked on the internet and it looked fairly easy. However, there is no information on doing it on a aurora. I got the belt off and the front tire off. And am assuming that the big bolt in the center of the pulley is all that is holding it on, but I am not sure because I have tried to get it off and am having alot of trouble. Can anybody tell me the correct steps to remove the balancer? Its a '95. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!!

If you do not have the Flywheel holder, it is almost impossible to do correctly. The crank will want to rotate as you try to loosen and tighten it. If you do not get it tight enough the oil pump can slip and you will loose oil pressure. :crying:
