I purchased my car a couple years ago.
I had to replace the multifunction switch to get my brake lights to
work.
Now i am just wondering where should i start or begin with.
My headlights dont switch to day time running lights when the
key is on, the head lights and signal lights are always on.
Also the little screen that displays the boost and such is out, with
the clock and station part of the radio being out, but the radio works
normal, any suggestions?

Welcome to AF.
Visit our Grand Prix Tips & Maintenance forum for various tech tips such as getting the clock display on the radio back.
So your driver information center (DIC) is acting up? What else on it is not indicating properly?

Sorry for the late response,
Yes the DIC doesnt display, the clock doesnt show for the radio as well.
I noticed the 3 buttons beside the DIC turn on and flicker when my car
has been running for a while.
Also the switch for turning on my markers/headlights doesnt work at all,
my head lights are always on while car is running.
That about all the problems i have noticed so far.

Will the headlights turn on as soon as you start your car or they do until you release the emergency brake? If the answer is the second that's the DaytimeRunningLights and is perfeclty normal.

The ebrake being engaged or not doesnt change the
headlights, once the key is turned the headlights are
always on full as if they were turned on, but the switch
is off, and if i were to turn them to the on position the
lights flicker once and stay the same

Maybe your headlight switch is bad, do lights turn off with the engine, or they will stay on for about 10 minutes after engine has been shut down?. Do you have any chime when you open the drivers door?.

I'm pointing towards a bad ignition harness on this one.

grandprixgtx00 might be right; do you have any other electrical gremlins like A/C not working, your key won't come out easily?

Unfortunately i wouldnt beable to tell if the AC would work
or not because the condeser was takin out after an accident.
But pretty much everything else is working as it should be

Sorry for the confusion I was tryibg to find out if your blower works on all speeds :p.
But if everything is working fine I would suggest getting a headlight switch from the yard and see if it fixes your problem it shouldn't be expensive. If that doesn't solves the problem then we'll have to figure out other electrical problems or a possibly bad ignition harness.

these all lead me to believe it is the ignition harness. Very common problem on the 97-03 GP which will cause all sorts of electric gremlins. I've been known to be wrong before, but this is an educated guess.

Well that would be a good sign of a bad ignition harness like grandprixgtx00 said and since you haven't done it before it would be a good idea to replace it, it can't hurt to be ahead of more problems.
