Heater itself works fine but I can't get (warm) air to blow by my feet, the other settings work just fine but when I turn the dial to my feet there's a very minmal amount of warm air. Is there something that is blocked maybe?
Thanks,
Bert

take the filters out and see if it blows better. If no filters in the air box you could have a mess of debris in there blocking the heatercore/evap unit. many have had this occur.

Where and what do I take apart? Is there a part under the dash that comes off?
Thanks,

under the glove box is this plastic cover , remove. in the right corner is the connections to blower/blower motor.to the left a few inches is the 1 inch wide 6 inches high plastic cover for the air filters. remove the screws and pull out the 2 filters. If / since you have no knowledge of all this it must be really messed up with crap..

Turns out the filter was clogged up pretty bad. Now it blows a 100% better (without the filter), wouldn't this affect all the vents? It was blowing just fine at the windshield, and the dash vents.

be sure to install 2 new filters. you don't then the dash will require removal to remove all the debris that will damage your HVAC controls and cooling coils........

j cAT, you say 2 filters? There was only 1 in there and if I look at Napa parts online it say's quantity 1 per vehicle?

There are 2, the you pulled out can be clearly seen, I believe the other one is recessed either up or to the side (forward of the truck)

the filter must be 2 pieces or it will not fit. one piece would be toooo big to slide into the slot. they set in there side by side.
the box the new filters come in have 2 separate filters. if not then its the wrong filter.

Also sounds like the parts store guys don't know what they are doing either.
Here's an idea: take both old filters with you when you go back to get the new ones.
