2000 camshaft dowel pin

The camgear pulley wasn't torqued tight enough and as a result it sheared the dowel pin on the camshaft. Does anybody know if I can drill it out and replace the pin? Is the pin hardened? Or do I need to replace the whole camshaft? I don't think any of the valves were bent when the pin sheared since I have compression in all cylinders. Thanks for any help.
