Resetting oil change lite

Can someone tell me how to rest the oil change lite on my 05 envoy 4.2...Thanks

Turn the ignition to the RUN position without starting the engine.
Fully push and release the accelerator pedal slowly three times within five seconds.
If the CHANGE ENG OIL light flashes, the system is reset. If the light does not flash, repeat the procedure.
