Help needed chopping a ford 32

Hi people! how are you?

A few days ago i bought a revell kit of a 1932 ford....which i like to assembly very similar to this beauty:

The thing is that i alredy chopped the fenders....

But now im stopped because i dont know how to proceed...because theres some space between the "interior fender" and the body...what should i do? Also this revell kit is not very clear about the right position of the body in the chasis...thats another complication

Should i cutt the whole "interior" fender? (red line in the image) and do all that from scratch?

6 of one, half dozen of the other on fixing the gap. If you cut out the original part, you'll need to make a full inner tub, no problem, but then you'll have to match it to the chassis...hmmm. On the other hand filling the gap with plastic and putty will be difficult as it is in a difficult place to work AND you have to be able to remove the body while leaving the tubs in place.

If I were you, I'd throw that kit in the parts box for later use and go get this Monogram 32 ford:
these are all basically the same kit with differences in body and wheel selection. They all build up the same and are the best 1:24/25 scale 32 Fords out there. PERIOD!

Its true what you said...in fact i alredy have the "2 n 1 ford 1932 5 windows" (in the picture is the blue and the yellow)...but i want to chop something, thats why i bought the other kit....the easy way is doing what you said but i want to "take the risk" of building something as best as i can...so cheking the video of the link i wrote in my other post....i realized that its has the interior fenders chopped from the chassis and they are added to the body...so thats what im going to do, i will be difficult, but measuirng, and thinking and dont think is impossible.

A little coment, maybe is helpful for someone...i was cheking the contents of the "5 windows revell kit" and it has two assembly options or styles...so with the parts came two inner fenders, so im going to copy this inner fenders, and add them to the body of the chopped kit and i hope it will work :eek7:
