Hi, My name is James, I am 17 years old and I come form Spain. I introduce myself in AF with my 2nd. completed Proyect, the most ambitious one. It is an Fujimi's 1998 Renault Mégane Coupe, with "north Spain racing" style...

I'll be pleasant of solving any doubt you have. Critics and comments are accepted, of course, and, the firt critic is mine... I had a problem with the clear, it was my first claredcoated kit, and after 2 days, orange peel apeared, and I don't believe so much on my skills, so i did not polish.

The mods are:
Mods Body/chassis
- White Speedline 5-Spoke (mod.2010) wheels.
- New front suspension with blue Springs
- Front Brembo (fujimi) brakes delanteros and in the rear wheels, the original front ones from the kit.
- New Exhaust system
- New front lip and night halogen lights

Mods Interior
- Black/dark grey tapestry, as like as the original one.
- New Sparco steering wheel, Sparco Pro2000 seat for the driver and new shift lever.

- Original Clio Williams post colour ref.432

Here are the pics, in some of them appear a Die cast Citroën C2 HDI, swaped to VTS

Wow, I like it a lot. I have one of these in my stash, but never imagined it could look so good.

Excellent build. You have done a superb job with this kit; looks life like.

On your next build if you get orange peel, give polishing a go, either with a polishing kit or try polishing compound. It took me a while to get the hang of it but once I did it solved my orange peel problems. Work slowly and keep checking your polishing.

Look forward to seeing more of your work.

Nice Work, clearcoating is still tricky for some of us who have been doing it for ages. I highly suggest a good airbrush & get a 2K paint set, youll be amazed by the results!!

Don´t worry! Painting the body is always the hardest part. Just keep on trying!
I like your Renault - well done!

Thanks to all, your coments make me be more confident about my models.

Hartford, I'll try to post more of my models and WIPs here in AF, but I'm studying, and i've got no much time for posting in forums. And other problem is that I've got lot of WIP''s on progress, but I get bored of them and start anoher one...:frown:

da-ashman, I think that my airbrush is quite well, and I've clearcoated with BMW automotive clear, but I'm thinking about buying that 2K clear.

Thanks to all again!

regards, James

Hi James,

it's a nice model, I love the realistic stance, the kind of car I could trully cross on roads here in France... Well done !!

Thanks Rallymaster.. ;) As you've said, this car is supossed to be a daily cruiser one, one car that we all can see in the south of Europe. I can show you thousands of Meganes, Saxos, Clios or Pugs with the same style as mine rolling on the streets of Asturias, where I live... ;)

Regards, James
