Hello! So I was wondering if you guys had some suggestions on what parts to use for a tune up. I will be doing one soon here and was wondering if there's a certain brand or type of plugs and wires that everyone likes? Also besides changing those 2 items is there something else that's a must change item to go with that? Any feedback would be awesome! THANKS!!

It would help to post whether your GTP is stock or modded.

General Rule of thumb is no Bosch anything. Any questions, ask Richtazz what he thinks about bosch.

Along with plugs and wires, might be a good idea to change the fuel filter, air filter, and PCV valve. Also since you live in Minnesnowta, if your car takes a while to warm up, and the thermostat is stock, it may not be a bad idea to change it out.

Before you buy andything, as Bob asked in his post, whats best to install is going to be determined by if your car is stock or modded.

Are you ready for our warm up this weekend? I hope it comes I've got some big plans.....

Currently I have no Mods done to my car. I did have the fuel filter on my list of things that needed to get changed soon anyways so that's good. I don't have BIG plans this weekend but I'm surely looking forward to the warmup. This winter seems so long compared to others. It's probably because it snows 5 out of the 7 days a week!:banghead: lol. Thanks for the input. I do remember seeing the posts before about the bosch stuff, it was entertaining lol.

Sheesh, tell me about it. I havn't getten a good weekend since summer. Seems to pick friday or saturday every week to snow. And not like an inch, usually 5 or 6. Cripes.

Since your stock, I'd go with the delco iridium 41-101 plugs or their NGK counterpart. Delco wires, wix air and fuel filter, and delco PCV valce. Then you should be about set!

Yea not only does it seem to snow every weekend but when we do get a break from the snow why is it always cloudy?! Lol, I'm absoluetly looking forward to spring. My only concern is that the snow bank in my front yard may not melt until June:mad: So thank you for the input. I'm going to look those up now and see how much this will set me back!

I use NGK's, a lot of the GTP owners use the Autolite Iridiums, and I've heard good things about them. For plug wires, I used the Belden Edge Premium wires. They seem to work well, and have a lifetime warranty.
