I was opening the oil filler pipe today.
The whole oil filler pipe broke near the base. Ouch!
Any ideas how to fix this thing?
It is only plastic and looks as if it plugs into the tappit pan.
Cheers

Go to your GM dealer and buy or order a new one also might be a good ide to get a new rubber gromet for the valve cover wher oil pip goes into.

I know it works on the V8 engines but if you can twist out the tube and put your cap on the valve cover. Should twist and seal like on the filler tube.

If it broke then there might be a piece in under the cover. Depends on if the pipe broke at the bottom or the tab in the cover broke.

yea, gm usaully does this like with the 3800 and the 3400 to attach shields. Worth a shot.
