I thought the problem was the latch sticking because when I took the door panel off & worked the actuator rods they were in good working order.
I then noticed that there was a lot of caked up lubricant on the internal parts of that which I could see so I sprayed blaster penetrant on the latch & let it sit. I tried to open it later & it opened. While I had it opened I re-cleaned the old lube out with a solder brush & engine cleaner & then flushed it out with engine cleaner. No easy task! I then checked the mechanism by using a piece of masonry line to work the latch handle while I checked the latch. It seemed to work fine. I closed the door & I got the same thing, the door is stuck again.
I got on Comp Nine's web site & checked the diagram and I do not see any other mechanism that holds the door shut.
Am I missing something?
Any input would be greatly apprecieated.

There is a small spring on the rear hinge/roller assembly that kicks the rear of the door out when the handle calls for "unlatch". Try to manually pull the rear of the door out (with a finger) while the front handle is pulled rearward (calling for unlatch). If the door opens, then what you need to do is clean ALL the rollers, latches and hinges on the entire door. Also you should clean and lubricate the upper and middle tracks, and clean the lower track. Dirt is the problem in most all cases that I've encountered. Don't be afraid to take the water hose, then the air hose to the bottom track. Use a lubricant like CRC or WD40 that will dry, rather than accumulate dirt like a grease will. Getting back to the little spring, If it isn't there, then you will have to use a finger to pull the rear of the door.
Good luck
