2002 regal lowbeam headlights

I have a 2002 regal and lowbeams quit working...I have checked fuses and bulbs all ok...I am wondering if there is a relay somewhere that could be the culprit......I do not think it is bcm everything else works fine...highbeams also work fine.I have noticed since this problem began I do not hear a relay clickining anymore when I turn lights on like I used to hear...

I would bet it's the multifunction switch in the steering column. It has the dimmer switch built into it, and it's probably not engaging.
