mini backfire

i've noticed when i shift from 2nd to 3rd, my civic backfires a little. its not a huge "KABLAMO!!!", its just a lil pop. it doesnt really bother me or anything, i just like to know what it means :o

Is it *every* time you shift from 2nd to 3rd? Or is occasionally or is rare but you noticed it enough that it is annoying?
