Does anyone know where I can get a big front brake kit for a DX sedan? I had found one a couple of months ago but my computer crashed and I lost the link to the site and can't seem to find it again

how big do you want? you can use the front brakes off of a ex sedan and gain almost an inch of front brake rotor...if thats enough for you then you can get it cheaper the buying a big brake kit....

Try a Honda Accord.

Or an Integra.

Im pretty sure the Inegra is a straight swap (frount and rear) while the Accord frounts do fit with but require just a little work.

If you decide to use integra front brakes, you will still need EX steering knuckles, as with the accord as well. BTW, Accord Wagon has the exact same part number for their front calipers as do the Type R's, just a little tidbit of info..

www.fastbrakes.com has a variety of big brake kits for 4th gens.

everything from 11" plain rotors with remanufactured calipers to 11" 2 piece drilled rotors with big 4 piston wilwood calipers. options like braided steel lines are up to you (and cost more), and they have kits for both front and rear. I believe a front kit alone with the wilwood calipers and slotted rotors is 800 without shipping or install.

wilwood also makes a kit that uses only their parts, and it is featured in the latest issue of Honda Tuning on their project Shaggin Waggin (4th gen wagon) and they show you step by step how to install it.

both companies recommend a larger master cylinder if you choose to upgrade, and they both say to NOT use DOT5 fluid.

if you dip into the Honda parts bin, you can get some nice brakes from the EX or an integra, or even an Accord now I guess which is cool.

whatever you do, do it right, and be safe. Good luck with that! Nothing looks better with a 17" wheel than a nice big rotor and beefy caliper behind it.
