Just completed this one recently, after a three year absence from building. It's a gift made for a friend. Finally my 100th post as well.
Car was done to replicate Morning Frost White (Tri-coat pearl). Done with Krylon decanted white, Mr. Color Pearl white, and PPG Shopline clear.
This build took quite a few setbacks, I had to redo the whole body after dirt got into the clear coat, requiring to hand sand in order to strip the urethane clear. I also did not realize the rear end piece is actually part of the trunk (until the very end of the build), so I had to do a spot paint repair after filling in the seam. Regardless, it turned out fine so I am quite satisfied. One of the hardest areas was the metal transfer, I had to use clear parts glue to seal them down.
It's the first time I tried lacquer for body, urethane clear, p/e parts, and flocking, so it was quite educational! :)
Overall, this was a nicely designed kit, parts fit very well. Excellent job from Tamiya!!

Looks great in white. Good save on the boot lid, well done.
Flocking and clear coat look really good in spite of it being your first time.
You sure you are giving this model away to a friend? I wouldn't want to, lol.
Regards,
Steve.

Thank you guys for the kind comments. Much appreciated!
Steve- Unfortunately the car is already off my hands, so it's a bit late now I guess ha. I do have another DBS kit in which I now must come up with a factory color that I will like just as much as the white, but I am not sure if I can find one...
Next build will still be a giveaway to another friend, a ZR1!
