Ford GT40 1967 Targa Florio Fujimi 1/24

Hi,
recently completed this Fujimi GT40 #130. This car finished 5th in the '67 Targa Florio (class win)
Basically OOB build, seatbelts are Eduard PE. I ground out the solid plastic front and rear mesh and added spare Tamiya black mesh. Bonnet catches are from Renaissance. Zero off white and 2K clear and some light weathering, I think I will add a little bit more weathering though.

I love this car. Your build is excellent and really captures the essence of it.

The weathering is so subtle I think it is perfect. It is too easy to do too much and make it look awkward, but you did a GREAT job!!!!

Hi Buddy,
Looks sharp,the grills are a big improvement and I,d say the weathering is just about spot on. Did'nt know a GT40 did the Targa.:uhoh:

Alex, google 67 Targa Florio there were some fabulous entries. Ford France entered two GT40's (the other crashed on lap 3) and a Shelby GT350 Mustang (which crashed before the race)
I'll admit I bought this particular boxing of the Fujimi kit because I liked the colour scheme but it has been fun researching it as well.
