when do you all trim the black or even chrome moldings on the bodies?

do you do it before clear coating or after clear.

Do them after, since window trim isn't glossy.

I always do chrome (foil) or black (acrylic paint) window trim after the model is painted and polished, the last step before final assembly.

I do know that some guys like to apply the chrome foil and then clearcoat over it. I prefer the look of the chrome foil when it is polished out, and would never clear over it.

ya i guess it is just a matter of choice then huh. i was thinking to make it the last step of assembly becasue the trim on most cars, if black is not shiny, i was wondering how well BMF would adhere to the body after it was clear coated.
