01`x front suspension

stock suspension on wife`s Xterra clunk coming from front end. Put up on hoist and found links loose,at closer inspection the bracket on lower control arms were broken. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem.Considered buying new control arms but for the posts i`ve read there is a problem with the arm at the shock bracket.inspected mine and there are no cracks around the shock brackets. will have to fix this soon she doesnt like the clunking. Considering having bracket built and welding them on my self. Has anyone had this problem also. This is hi-way driven only.
