hey guys, i need some advice here. im thinking about doing some body work to my bimmer, just to make it a LITTLE more flashy (no neon rice jobs) but i dont know what to add......possibly a paint job? i have no clue. any suggestions would rock. thanks :smoker2:

Can you post any decent size pics of your car?

I'd start off by tinting your windows. 325is have really classy lines, I wouldn't put any sort of ground effects on it. As far as paint goes, keep it ALL one color (a flashier dark shade).

I have to agree with Danno ... like always...

Window tint.. and maybe a quality paint job, with all the ripples and dings taken out. Nothings sexier than a dark colored car thats smooth as glass.

put a bigass exhaust on it like this

then paint it bright orange and get purple tint

then cut the springs down so you're a low rider like this

That's not an exhaust - it's a cannon, all BMWs should be equipped with one.

:hehehe:

keep it stylish. 3rd vote here for the tint (cuz it helps ur car's overall look a lot IMO), an try lowering ur car. not rice lowered where u scrape on the middle dividing bumps, but jus so u don't have wheel gap. w/ that an ur body cleaned up...u'd have a very nice looking ride.

and get a mirror tint.. not the 100% mirror tint..thats gay. get the slight mirror tint..its not really visible in the sunlight..but when its dark..the mirror tint is noticeable and quite subtle..its nice..not too flashy or tacky. i for get what its called..but its not really a mirror tint. and mayve you could lower the car a bit.

Yeah.. tinting would be good, lowering just a lil bit is good...
May I suggest Xenon lights?

hmm i like the mirror tint idea!
and i was thinking about HID lights, but im not sure if i can fit it in my car due to the fact thats its a 1989 with round sealed beam lights.....

Well, remove as much of the outer trim as you can, tint the windows, lower it a few inches, and give it a respray. Makes subtly differnet, but still noticeable.

You could always get an airdam from an M3, looks a little nicer than stock.

The best thing is to pore over hundreds of pics of other peoples cars, and see things that you like, and just do that... not exactly original, but you take a little cue here and there, and you can have a unique car that looks really good.

I also vote for tint, ding removal, and fresh paint... but how would a wide body kit look on the bimmer??
