350 building Tbi question

I've got a 1993 k1500 and I had my 350rebuilt board 0.030 over with a towing cam. It has a five speed and nd true duel 2.25 exhaust and purple hornies so it sounds so nice. I will be buying rebuilt vortec heads the new intake for the heads a big block tbi and an adapter for the tbi and a cold air intake.I want in the worst way to put a rough idling cam in even if I loose quite abit of low end power. I have 33 12.5 15 tires and 3.42 gears but i jst drive it on wknds.If I buy the set up for burning a custom prom for this engine to run how I'll I know where to start with the initial tune to start of half wAy close and how hard is it to understand the software to do this?
