A/C Problem

I have an 06 Envoy Denali with 70k. I noticed while driving the other night that my a/c button wasn't lit up like the rest of them. I thought maybe the light was burnt out until I pressed it and the snowflake on the display would flash a couple times then go out. Has anyone had similar problems?
