2001 impala motor in a 1998 venture will it work

will a 3.4 motor out of a 2001 impala work in a 1998 venture with a bad 3.4 engine?? thanks in advance, skip:rolleyes:

It might, the intake/ fuel injector assembly/ EGR WILL have to be swapped and the brackets on the front of the motor swapped around. My 97 has a newer motor in it, but methinks it is from a van because of how the fuel lines were laid on the newer intake (couldnt have the newer injectors...)
