Can't remember if I posted this one here, speaking of Volvo's. I kit bashed the Tamiya street version wagon with the racing sedan to make a street sedan. I had to cut the front end of both models just below the grill in order to put the stock one on the sedan. I used the sedan's chassis with the lowered suspension and put S2000 wheels on it. I modified the stock interior from the wagon to fit the sedan. The green paint is custom mixed from Testors Boyd's paints and top coated with Gunze B501 clear. The interior is dark gray with cream carpet.

You chose nice color. 'cause I think there are few cars which fit for green color.
and S2000 rims also suit to the car.
great job! :)

But what if the window rubber on the 850 isn't really that visible?

Thanks all! The 850 doesn't have much, hardly any on the sides except for weather strips.

WOW! Cool job.
Am I correct in assuming that you grafted on the rear section from the Tamiya BTCC Volvo saloon onto the road going Estate version?? Or is that a complete kit made by somebosy I'm unaware of?

Don't worry about PMing, I never saw this car, and now I have. You did good in my book!
Great car. Love the conversion, flawless, no sign of the work at all. The color and rims look outstanding, though I'd've never guessed it if you showed the the bottle and told me your plans with the S2k rims.

Wow, this is an awsome Volvo! We have plenty of tuned Volvos here in Sweden and these are good for references. Now, are you going to build an T5 R of the excisting parts? They sure look nice in yellow as a model.

ok i take back that it was a twin turbo, i dont know that for sure. I do know for a fact that if was turbo however it may have been a single smaller after market turbo.
and he most definitely was racing me, he reved his engine at the red light, and looked over at me to challenge.
and once it turned green, we literally stayed right next to eachother untill about 90 mph and at that point i slowly started pulling ahead, at about 110 i had a car length on him. at this point he bugged out, and started slowing down.
if he wasnt racing me he wouldnt have been going 100+ in a 35 zone right by my side. he also probably wouldnt have red lined it through every gear or reved his engine at the red light...

That looks awesome! I like the idea of turning it into a street sedan, Tamiya should of made a street version of the sedan anyway. I think you should ditch the wheels for something else though, some 850R type wheels would look awesome!

Very nice job...
Its good to see something different (car and colour) on the forum..
I like the grey trim on the bumpers, really brings out the colour.
Good work.
