To those of you in the New York area, you are now aware that we have a new Mayor in Mike Blumberg. Which I'm happy to have in office. However, to laugh at this person, Mark Green, who really showed his true colors, this is what the post had of him.

I knew of the race in NY but was there something Green did that would make that comic more funny to a Non New Yorker like me?

Actually Yogs, yes he did. He had the NY Post put up a cartoon of Bloomberg referring to Ferrer kissing Sharpton's ass. Now a lot of people took offense to it. He claimed he did not do it, but then, why would the post make that specific cartoon of him.

does General Electric still make stuff?
I haven't seen any electronics by them in a long time........ maybe i'm just not paying attention to them

General Electric is still one of the biggest companies in the world. They still make phones, radios, TV's, VCR's, Fridges, airplane engines, everything...

holy crap, i must be blind.... i remember always seeing stuff made by them. Now when ever i go anywhere there are electronics all i see is like Sony and Panasonic... and all the other companies with not as good stuff :D

Do they make toilets too? I see to remember seeing a GE toilet once...

Hmmmm... I dont recall them making toilets. But they are like Mitsubishi - they have there hands in a whole lot of stuff.

Mitisubishi was orignaly one giant company that built lots of different things.
However after WW II the AMERICANS!!!! Forced the company to split up, and prevented the 3 new Mitsubishi's from working together.
So altough there is Mitsubishi electronics, Mitsubishi Motors and Mitsubishi Enginering and they all use the diamond Logo they are all 3 differnt companies.

For exmple Mitsubishi enginering manufactors Turbos, but Mitsubishi motors dosn't use them, they mostly use thier own in house turbos, while Mitsubishi enginering supplies Izuzu.


oh, and GE was last time I checked the 2nd largest corperation in the world, behind GM. But I think there has been some chopping and changing since then. They are however still in the top 5.

I didnt realize it was multiple companies. I thought it was all under the same umbrella. Thanks for the update.
