'97 XK8, 113K miles. Anyone here replace their starter? Mine just won't turn anymore, with or without added juice, selenoid snaps firmly into place but won't kick the motor over. Obviously, the car is sitting until it's replaced.

I replaced it. First with a supposedly low, low mileage starter from an XJ8 which wouldn't turn at all. Then, with another "recycled" one with some miles on it. Works great, no more nonstarts, dragging starts, or battery drains.
