help with lights please

im trying to search and locate about how to change the time for the headlights to turn off after the engine is shut down????:confused: if there is no way to change the amount of time they stay on is there a way to disable this feature???

It talks in the owners manual about being able to disable the lights staying on after the ignition is off. However, it did not say anything about being able to adjust the amount of time. You can just pull the headlight knob toward you after the ignition is off and then right back in and they will immediately turn off. When you pull the know out, you are overriding the automatic control. They stay on for the 90 seconds after the ignition is off due to the automatic control.

well its supose to be 90 secs. but i timed it after my battery was dead 4 times and they were staying on for 3 and a half minutes yeppie 210 secs over double what its supose to be..thats why im looking for something that would help and thanks for letting me know about the knob im gonna tell the wifey to start doing that now that we replaced to battery
