Just completed this old white metal kit from Autokits (still available from South Eastern Finecast I believe)
This was quite a fun kit to build and my second venture into white metal, first was a Triumph Spitfire from Western models-also in 1/24.
It is almost OOB apart from seat padding which I made from Tamiya putty.
It isn't very accurate but it does make a nice shelf model. I have recently bought the ERA from the same company, apart from being a real fan of these cars, I live a couple of miles from Bourne where they were built. I also still see some of the guys that worked on the BRM's, they have some great memories to share.

Alex, Happy New Year to you to my Friend.
I will have several new models on the table at MK including the stack pipe.
I have been busy buying some interesting kits. You will be pleased to hear they are all competition cars including the Profil 24 Maserati Type 63, a pair of Chaparrals in plastic, one is the Modellers 2D the other is the old IMC 2E and a Lola T70 spyder also from IMC. I also have the Profil Aston Martin DBR1 on order.
A busy year ahead methinks!
See you at MK mate.
All the best, Steve.
When I get a few minutes, I will snap a few more pics of the model.
