Saw my first -

- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution in real life at touching distance ! I have to say , those cars are beatiful. My dad owns a 2003 Lancer, the less performancy model. Its cool to have and drive. But i really want to try out those Evo's. This one was infront of my school.. some dummy left the motor runnin while going inside the school to the office. :rolleyes:.. yea.. i was thinkin about it.. :D
- It belonged to a rich Asian ( no offense ) But it had the works.. some nice rims, wings, tails, int. was done to an extend as far as accesories and what not. I never did get to see it drive away.. I went cross the street to Chic-Fille , almost went to jail cuz we were "Loitering" and i was back talkin the cop :devil: :rolleyes:.. almost broke my arm w/his Jet Li Arm twist move :( But i didnt have any camera to take pix iether.. so that sux, sorry :(

when we were shopping for a new car for my mom (she ended up getting an 03 maxima with the 245hp V6 fully loaded) we test drove one. the mitsubishi dealer here in little podunk idaho has already gotten like 4 moved through. that thing was stupid fast... they wouldn't let me drive it, but my dad drove it and pushed it through redline in 1st thru 3rd gear... STUPID fast... those seats feel so good too. a stock WRX doesn't even compare anymore... we drove one right after the evo and it just felt... weak... i mean yeah they are damn good cars and hella fast.. but the evo just is a whole new level.

some 18 year old kid got an evo from his dad for graduation, and the dealer told him to give it about 3000 miles before really pushing it hard, and the kid has just PUNISHED it from the day he got it... that poor car... the kid doesn't know SHIT either.

also, i saw an STi on my drive down from moscow... brand fucking new...

LOL - you haven't seen anything until you have seen an Evo 3 doing AWD donuts on hardtop. ;)

Nice cars, I'd take one over a WRX any day of the week, even an STI. All WRXs have crappy gearboxes - most people go to an aftermarket dogbox over here.

An RVR people mover with Evo3 engine and gearbox is an even more awesome sight to see ;)

how much does a dog box for a wrx/sti go for over there? it would be an arm and a leg in the states. lots of people just get theirs built up stateside...

u got to SEE one. i got to actually run against one when i was at the track. :D . it ran a 13.8 to my 14.9. it was a whoopin for sure, but damned fast an nice to look at.

when i took the accord to the track back a few weeks, there was an evo running there, with a bunch of mods already done to it, it ran a 13.1:eek:

Sounds like this guy I know who got an SER spec V .... car pings like crazy now and hes all like "naa man, all nissans do this" and everyone else is like "sorry man, no they dont"

And I have yet to see one in person.

Yea, I know there fast, I tried to race one with my civic&HF tranny lol he smoked the shit outta me!

I was down on the 601 last night (the cruise to some) and the punk kid has his Evo down there and it was fully loaded with people and he was doing some hard launches and stuff, but a nice 71 Nova with a transplanted 454 showed him up.

LoL Aztec , yea, my best bud over here - has a 73 Nova, he'z thinkin bout moddin hiz engine up too - and the workz for lowrider style still ;)

On a racing note, my buddy is all excited because he got destroyed by an Evo on the highway last week.

Now, this man has one of the cleanest, meanest ef9's you will lay eyes on and he's been racing for 15 years. He refuses to drag race his car, because he likes to keep people guessing. But I've seen him get on it, and his car is easily in the 13's.

He's like, "I even turned my spoon vtec controller down so I could race and he smoked me as soon as the turbo spooled up" hahahaha. Then he says the guy slows down at the next light, and he looks over, and the owner of the Evo is gotta be like 60. hahahahahaha. He said they chatted for a few, had a laugh and took off.

Grandpa street racers definitely get a thumbs up from me. Sure beats the ones who look like they need a phone book to see over the wheel. LOL:p
