iNSTALLING A TACH IN A 5.0

I KNOW THIS THREAD DONT BELONG HERE AND YOU CAN DELETE IT IF YOU LIKE BUT I NEED HELP. iM TRYING TO GET ALOT OF WORK ON THE SIDE AND HOPEFULLY ONE DAY OWN A CAR GARAGE I HAD A FEW CUSTOMERS SO FAR BUT I HAVE TO INSTALL A TACH IN A 89 STANG THIS WEEK AND I NEVER EVEN POPED A HOOD ON A MUSTANG SO I DONT KNOW WERE TO HOOK THE TACVH WIRE UP TO? aNY ONE HAVE ANY IDEA OR A LINK OR ANYTHING. THEY DONT ANSWER ON THE 5.0 FORUM I KNOW YOU GUYS WILL HELP THANKS

the tach wire is tan w/yellow stripe at the ignition coil.

I could be wrong, maybe thinking of something else or maybe my ford was hacked together but Im thinking green for some reason, anyway there are two wires going into the coil, it is one of those, and probley even says tach rigth on it.

you are correct, it's a dark green with yellow stripe,
