Transmission Problem

I recently asked a question about the transmission in my 2000 4runner that Brian R. answered and I am very appreciative of that. Now I have another question. Here is what has happened: I went to a salvage yard and got another transmission and torque converter with about 83,000 miles on it. I changed the fluid and filter. I took compressed air and blew the fluid out of the oil cooler. I put the transmission in and drove it for about 15 minutes and the 'CHECK ENGINE' light came on. I took it to a parts house and got them to check it with their analyzer. The problem was 'Transmission fluid temperature sensor "A" circuit'. I went home and changed out the temperature sensor with the one (which wasn't giving a problem) off the bad transmission. I reset the check engine light and after driving it for about 15 minutes the light came back on. I checked the temperature on the transmission in different places with an infared temperature gun and the highest reading was about 150 degrees which I don't think is too hot. I also cleaned the electrical contact points with contact cleaner. Any idea on what I should do next? Thanks for any and all help.

TAH DAH! I finally found the problem. Apparently during installation of the transmission, one the wires got damaged. Made the repair on the wire and no more CHECK ENGINE light. Hopefully, this will help someone in the future.
