A little while ago I started work on this Porsche. I wanted to be OOB, but I couldn't hold myself.
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9271350.jpg
I first glued the rearspoiler on the body and filled the seams with putty. After it hardened I sprayed primer.
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9211321.jpg
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9211320.jpg
The wheelinserts are closed and that didn't look very real. So with the motortool I opened them right up.
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9211322.jpg
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9211323.jpg
I covered the seat with some cloth and made the footrest out of PLasticard and covered it with cloth to replicate the glassfibre.
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9221324.jpg
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9221325.jpg
I thinned the windowsurrounds with a file and sandpaper.
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9221326.jpg
I noticed that the body missed the raindrain?? So I made them out of Plasticard. I sliced a tiny part of it and glued to the roof.
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9221327.jpg
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9221328.jpg
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9221329.jpg
After glueing I sanded them in to form.
There are some more onmissions in this kit that I hat to fix.
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9221331.jpg
This hat to be opened up and placed to little pillars in it.
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9221332.jpg
I also made an airducht on the rearspoiler with Plasticard.
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9231335.jpg
It's primertime. I used the primer from Zeropaints. One word of causion. The primer has to be thinned a little more, since the primer was to thick for airbrush use.
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9231336.jpg
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9231337.jpg
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9231338.jpg
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9231339.jpg
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9251341.jpg
On to the interior then. This is a simple kit and to repicate the real car I had to make a few items for the cockpit.
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9251340.jpg
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9271342.jpg
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9271343.jpg
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9271344.jpg
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9271348.jpg
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9271349.jpg
Ready to resive Alclad II aluminium.
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/P9301352.jpg
The wheels were stripped of there chroom and will be repainted with Alclad II.
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/PA031355.jpg
The next hurdle was decalling the body. And here I made a mistake. I should have begun with the rearside of the car. In this way it wash much easyer to decal both left and right sides of the car. Now the decals are not lined up. Luckely it's only visible when you look at rear of the car. In the cabinet I will position it so that it isn't visible. I cheat, so what...:nono:

http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/PA051358.jpg
Also missing in the kit is a full rollcage. With plastic rod I made a full rollcage and painted it silver.
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/PA311469.jpg

The dashboard with a little more detail, not to much.
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh113/ewestra/PB011472.jpg
The real Porsche 935 had some cloth on top of the dash' I used adhesive cloth from MFH. It sits nice on top of the dashboard.

Very nice build. It was worth the extra effort, since this is really an "elderly" on the kit market.
You have added a lot of realism to it, thanks to your good work. Congratulations.
