Hey, maybe one of you guys can answer this.
I found a pm9 obd-zero ecu in a 90 Dx about a year ago, and have had it ever since.
I would not have even bothered picking it up, but the car I pulled it from was not normal to say the least. The car was a dx, but had a Zc block with the Sohc Vtec head on it. I didnt think that was possible, but hey maybe thats why it was in the junk yard. Just out of sheer curiousity, I wanted to see what computer was managing this clusterfuck.
So anywho, I've searched all over, but have no idea wtf this thing originally came from.

PM9 was a DX ECU found mostly in 91s, it was hardly used. I think it has even crappier fuel maps than the PM5.
a SOHC ZC block with a SOHC VTEC head would be possible I guess, are you sure it wasn't the SOHC VTEC ZC?
