Can anyone shed some light on what would cause an Air Bag Code 24? I saw a list of the air bag codes but it didn't really narrow it down much for me.
Any one had experience with this code? Thanks!

An SRS Lamp Fault Code (LFC) of 24 suggests and Electronic Crash Sensor (ECS) Module Internal Fault.
Per the factory service manual (model year 1998):
Normal Operation
The air bag electronic crash sensor (ECS) module monitors the back-up power supply, accelerometer operation and memory. If the ECS detects a failure in any of these components, it will store a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) B1342 in memory and flash a lamp fault code (LFC) 24 on the air bag indicator.
Possible Causes:
An ECS module internal fault could be caused by:
the internal accelerometer not operating correctly.
the back-up power supply not operating correctly.
an internal module circuit fault detected.
a microcontroller RAM/ROM/EEPROM failure.

The manual states to check the wiring and to see if it is intermittent. You can clear the code and if it comes back, replace the ECS Module. If the B1342 code is displayed by using a scan tool, it is a hard fault code and the module need to be replaced. If it is not displayed, it is an intermittent concern.
LFC 24/DTC B1342 — ECS MODULE IS FAULTED

I checked for DTC codes and didn't find any. I had the AirBag Module reset (the air bag error lite was on constantly with no flashing) after reinstalling the module after being reset, I now get the flashing code 24 but still no DTC code.

If you're using a standard consumer-grade scan tool, you won't pull SRS codes. SRS codes require a scan tool that can access the body control module. The standard consumer-grade tools only pull Powertrain codes.
