98 spyder gs 2.4L high pitch sound and vibration

Ok stats first: 98 eclipse spyder gs 2.4L 194000 miles, new clutch, new spark plugs, car also smokes after start for about 10 min or until warm with the occasional puff during stop and start. So I wake up this morning and get going to work, on my way while stopped at a red light everything felt fine, then as I start accelerating. After putting it in second gear I notice a high pitched sound that increases with my rpm. Kind of like what you hear from large trucks or school busses. At that very moment I notice the car running rough with the vibration increasing with the rpm. I had a very similar problem a month or so ago and I had to replace the spark plugs. I have oil leaking into cylinder 1 because after removing the spark plug to check them it was completely covered in burnt and fresh oil which caused it to miss fire. The vibration associated with that was 100 times worse then what I am experiencing now. Also the vibration from before was constant but now it's only when the rpm gets over 2. I'm at a lose on this one. I'm at work so I can't check anything out visually until I get home. That's if I can make it home. Thanks for any help anyone can give. I just talked to a guy and he said it sounds like a timing belt issue. Could this be my problem?

Timing blet problem would just cause the car to skip timing and usually totally die. If one tooth had skipped, it would cause some lack of accerlation, but nothing with a lot of vibration.

I would check the motor mounts, see if the rubber is still in good shape. One or more may have rotted away and now the motor is just laying in the bay. Just a thought. Other than that not really sure. Squealing and vibration is kind of a weird mix.

The motor mounts should be good. Had one replaced about a year ago. The guy who said it might be the timing belt took a look at the car real quick for me and he said it's not the timing belt. He thinks it's a pulley bearing that is bad. If so how hard is that to replace myself. Can't spend a lot of money I'm broke. Also I noticed the high pitch noise as soon as the engine starts when I have to hood open. When I'm in the car driving I don't notice it until I speed up.
