Rav4 Paint Problems

I'm seriously considering buying a 2011 Rav4, but have read a lot about paint chipping problems that start to occur almost immediately after purchase. Some theorize it's due to "new" environmentally friendly paint Toyota is using (although this is apparently at least an eight year old problem), some say the paint is thinner than it used to be, and some say it's due to clearcoat problems. Anyway, I'm not really interested in the "why" so much as I am in knowing whether Toyota is doing, or has done, anything to fix this problem. Is anyone up-to-date on this? Thanks.

06 RAV4 70K miles. No chipping problems besides the usual couple on the hood from debrie hitting it. You might find something here:http://rav4world.com/forums/index.php
