96 OLDS Cutlass Supreme wipers no work...

Windsheild wipers stopped working. Tested moter and works fine. But they only work when you ground the motor. Any suggestions?

I would suspect a broken solder joint in the pluse board thats inside your wiper case.
A quick test for this is to turn wiper to on position then lightly beat on the wiper case see if it tryes to start moving, if it does you can remove the pluse board and with a magnifing glass look for a 360 degree crack around the solder joints, you can remelt the solder and be in bussiness again. This worked for me 3 years ago and its still going.
could also be a broken ground wire to the wiper!
