Also thinking of buying a Stratus

I am also thinking of buying a Stratus. Is there anything else beside the 2.7L engine being junk I should know about? How is the 2.4L engine? Are there known transmission issues? Electrical?,etc.

yep, they all have those problems. if you want a trouble free reliable car... 90's thru early 2000 toyota corolla is about as good as you can get. no trans problems, no engine problems.
