Drivers information console removal

This is a picture of the drivers information console still attached to roof. I assume I remove the red plug from the back to get it loose -only it will not budge. Is there a tab I have to release, how do I get it out?

Should just be a release tab somewhere, probably on the other side of the plug out of view.....
