On 2001 i30 with 123k miles I just had replaced following parts from new mechanic (my mistake):
disc brakes pads and rotors
Both side drive axles
outer tie rod
left control arm with ball joint

Now when I start car in cold morning or when it is about to stop near red light etc it makes lot of squealing from brakes otherwise brakes are fine so not sure if mechanic forget to put some lubricant etc or this is just feature of brakes nowadays?
Also when I turn left or right at very slow speed, I hear click click noise so not sure it can be symptom or faulty drive axle or some nut is not tight etc?

Any feedback would be appreciated since I would like to get some feedback before going back since he may try to sell something else.

Thanks

The brake related noise should go out by itself soon ... or if not, maybe the caliper anti squel bits are now missing? Nuisance problem - but with all new parts, they should be silent. Alas, very few use lube - check out my brake-page, link below
I hope the fluid was changed also ... should be swapped every 2-3 yrs.

Axle/supports:
Maybe smtg is a little loose, strut bearings now noisy? If that can be heard every time as described, the reason should be inspected. The shop should check these free ... you just keep the wallet closed.
