what does open or closed maf mean?

im testing my maf and i ohm the sensor at G/l-R ports and got 147ohms, measured again at G/L-B/L and i got 280. these readings are with the KOEO. my flowchart is asking either fully closed or fully open readings for the sensor and im unsure if its open or closed? im pointing twords a bad pcm based on my measurements and the specs i have being for G/L-R fully closed is 200-600 and fully open is 20-1,200. and for G/L-B/L its 200-400. so im within spec forsure on the G/L-B/L at 280 ohms. my other reading im in spec at 147 but thats for fully open and idk what the diference is between an open maf or a closed maf. help would be appreciated thanks!

All air is metered(MAF) going into the Intake!
Open - WOT, or throttle plate open.
Closed - is No throttle, or plate is closed.

ok thats what i figured but it confused me bc it looked like it was saying an open maf.. well duh the maf is always open lol so i wasnt sure if it ment throttle open. but thanks!
