Hey all..

I have an 02 EX-V6 Coupe with the 6-disc in-dash.. I want to add MP3 playback to the car without replacing the head unit and not using RF Modulation.. any hope?? I have been told from several places that its not possible unless i replace the head unit.. everything in the car is factory, have done no upgrades at all.. would like to keep it that was as much as possible..

ideas?

also, these CD/MP3 changers that have the wired display unit that needs to get attached somewhere on the dash.. where is a good place to put it?

thanks,
-mcd

Don't knock the RF modulation. I put the Alpine 6 CD MP3 changer in the Arm Rest and used their small controller/ RF Modualtor. There is NO WAY otherwise since there is non Honda Bus connector on the OEM since what more could you want? CD, Casete, AM/FM. I have the radio out 10 times and their isn't a Honda bus connector like the 2003 has. We put a Sony to Honda bus adapter (Soundgate SHOND 3) in with the Sony MP3 10 CD changer. The Alpine shows all the ID3 tag information and lets you FF and FR on an MP3 disk. Crutchfield seems like they are selling a package but I think it's a Sony package and I can't comment on the RF modulator's fidelity.

E-mail me for any additional information.
